The journey up Main St begins at Bank Square Coffeehouse, where a 20-foot-tall banner proclaims the existence of Beacon’s own Bigfoot! The exhibition of photos depicts various Bigfoot sightings around the woods of Beacon, Cold Spring, and the Hudson Valley. Do you believe in Bigfoot? Bigfoot believes in you!

Next stop is the Brandit Popmart, an imaginary hypermarket installation which examines truth in advertising and agribusiness while reinterpreting product packaging and in-store signage. It’s FRESH! It’s CHEAP! And it’s 99% FECAL FREE! The installation will run for one month, with doors open on the weekends from noon to 5:00 pm.

A few doors up, at X on Main Gallery, is Ron’s exhibition of photos of the sets that he builds to use as staging for his elaborate oil paintings. Never-before exhibited publicly as stand-alone pieces, Ron’s photography has always remained an integral part of his artistic process. For the first time he will exhibit these studies as limited edition photographs.

Lastly head to The Clutter Gallery for an exhibition of utilitarian drawings and examine how and where the vinyl figures that Ron is known for are conceived and created. Available only at Clutter, these utilitarian drawings bridge the gap between fantasy and must-have! “Thought Factory” is a peek into the inner workings of English’s proThought_Factory
