Krusty the Grin

Grinning Krusty the Clown Makes His Full Color Debut on December 12th 2016

There’s another familiar face in Popaganda land.

“Herschel Shmoikel Pinchas Yerucham Krustofsky” is his full government issue, but he’s better known as Krusty the Clown. This cynical burned out clown is the star of his own show in the Simpsons, and one of the most identifiable characters in all of Springfield.

As if Krusty couldn’t get any scarier, Ron English made him scarier.

He now has a GLOW IN THE DARK grin.

Krusty the Clown is a particularly interesting choice in terms of Popaganda symbolism. Krusty is a showbiz-jaded multi millionaire that has brought sell out to a whole new level. His underlying themes in the Simpsons include addiction, consumerism and media corruption to name a few.

And with plenty of things to mourn including the hay day of his career, Ron English has him immortalized eternally smiling in shiny vinyl.

This isn’t the first time Krusty hit the scene in Ron English flair, he appeared last October in a limited release collaboration with Madness and MadebyMonsters. This version was completely black and features MDNS branding on his shirt.

If you want to get your itchy and scratchy paws on the Krusty Grin, this release is 333 pieces limited and will be  available online on JPS Gallery‘s website on December 12th, 2016 at 10AM sharp HKT (GMT+8).

Toy Tokyo will also be offering this item through their website.

If you’re collecting Ron’s Simpson Grins, this will make quite the addition.

Stay krusty, Springfield.
